Rules are at the heart of the Gospel (?)

Blog post here.

There is a definite tendency to view the freedom of Christ as an absolute freedom. A freedom from any type of accountability because we only answer to God. If so, what is the place of law, any law (or rule) in the life of the Christian?

Can we drink at all? What of dancing? How important is church attendance? What should drive our relationship with God and one another?

Read Tim Keller's post. It might give you some uncomfortable answers to these questions.

My thinking is that the rule or law of love is heart of the gospel.
